Overview:
Commencing with an overland journey to Beshi Sahar, 130 km West of Kathmandu where we overnight. Our trek follows the gorge of Marshyangdi river through lush fields of paddy, innumerable tiny streams, waterfalls and beautiful villages, eventually emerging into high desert country at Manang (3597 m.). The trek gains in height fairly gently reducing the chances of altitude sickness, although, we do spend a day acclimatising before crossing the Thorang-La (5416 m.). From a high lodge camp we are up early for our crossing of the Thorang- La (tremendous high mountain feelings) before our decent to Muktinath in the lower Mustang region, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Buddhist and Hindu people in Nepal.
Annapurna is the most popular trek in Nepal which pass through some of the most stunningscenery in the world. Beside day hiking , long treks through happy valley deep into the heart of mountains can be made. Thakalis , Gurungs ,Magar , Manangis are the people that are found prevailing on the way.
Subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates is found changing with the elevation. Trekking in the region allows to explore through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the annapurna and Dhaulagiri and through the deepest gorge in the world, the kali Gandaki Gorge.

Itinerary:
Day 01 Arrival kathmandu International Airport , welcome transfer to hotel and rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Drive to Beshishar for Annapurna circuit trek. O/N at Beshishar.
Day 03 Beshishar – Bahundanda, Walk through the deep river gorge, rice fields, subtropical forest and small hamlets to Khudi. Walk to wards Bahundanda after crossing a bridge and we continue along the river side past a majestic waterfall, arrive Bahundanda with views of Himal Chuli and Manasalu.
Day 04 Bahundanda – Chamje, A steep and slippery trail descend to cross the stream and then climbs to crossing a suspension bridge. Continuing to climb through the village and rhododendron forest to Chamje, a small settlement at 1430m.
Day 05 Chamje – Bagarchhap, Climb along a rustic trail, arriving at the Tal on the open plateau. Cross through barley and, potato fields to arrive at Dharapani. Starts to climb to Bagarchhap, the first Tibetan Monastery, which offers you the views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal.
Day 06 Bagarchhap – Chame, The trail climbs along the mule track through the forest, past a rough trail, hot springs a water fall and a wooden bridge, to arrive at Chame.
Day 07 Chame – Pisang, Walk along the riverside, through deep forest to cross the suspension bridge and arrive at Pisang with good views of Pisang peak and Annapurna II.
Day 08 Pisang – Manang, Start to climb Manang ( 3535m) to study the largest Tibetan settlement with the good views of Annapurna II, IV & Tarke Kang. It is no problem to trek here in the summer as there is a lower rain fall.
Day 09 Manang This is a rest day to acclimatise to the higher altitude. Time to visit Monasteries, take advice from the Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views of the Himalaya .
Day 10 Manang – Latdar, The trail climbs to Latdar along the riverside, passing a village thicket and meadows where horses and Yak graze, at an elevation of 4250m the second to last camp before the pass
Day 11 Latdar - Thorang Phedi, The trail climbs north west of the tributary valley of the Jargeng Khola. It is some times possible to see herds of blue mountain sheep along the cliff.
Day 12 Thorang Phedi – Muktinath, Ascend steeply for 2 hrs., to a rock ledge at 4590m, then along an undulating trail to the level top of Thorang La 5416m. View of Annapurna range to the south and Mukut Himal bordering Dolpo to the West. Descend in to Mustang, a steep down hill trail for 3hrs. to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus. The holy water flows from the 108 carved spouts surrounding the Vishnu temple in a grove of secret poplars. Muktinath is also home to many ethnic Tibetans and holy Buddhist as well, particularly for the temple in which fire miraculously burns in a stream of water.
Day 13 Muktinath – Jomsom, Descend gradually through fields and poplar groves., then into the KaliGandaki river valley. Follow the valley southwards to Jomsom. The Kaligandaki valley here is called the Thakkhola, from the ethnic group the Thakalies, the main inhabitants of this area.
Day 14 Jomsom – Kalopani, Descend to Marpha a lovely village of whitewashed houses and fertile fields. Continue down the Kaligandaki reaching the former Thakali trading centre of Tukuche. Continue the transit from the Himalayan rainshadow into coniferous forest, which returns to the main river valley and then to Kalopani.
Day 15 Kalopani – Tatopani, A lovely day with another transition into sub-tropical vegetation., and the return of water buffalo., banyan trees and poinsettias. The trail follows the river through the narrow gorge, descending again to cross the bridge near a spectacular waterfall. Continue walking through the valley of Tatopani . In Tatopani there are natural hot water springs - time for a " scrub-up".
Day 16 Tatopani – Ghorepani, Steadily climbing all day we eventually leave behind the terraced fields and enter thick rhododendron forest and the village of Ghorepani . We camp at the pass for the best views of the sunset and look down on the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Range .
Day 17 Ghorepani – Ghandrung, This day is up and down walking through the magnificent stand of giant rhododendrons and orchids to the pretty Gurung town of Ghandrung, where the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre ( Fish tail ) dominate the mountain Views, though glimpses further east to Lamjung Himal and the Manasalu range are also visible
Day 18 Ghandrung - Dhampus - Pokhara
Descend about 2 hrs. and a sharp little climb to another Gurung village, Laundering. The trail follows the hill side south to the Dhampus. The mountain views are superb and apparently far away to the south lie Fewa Tal. Down to the ridge through the village of Dhampus , which is leads to a steep decent through a river valley to Pokhara via Hyanja. Then drive back to Pokhara Finished Annaurna Round Trekking.
Day 19 Pokhara – Kathmandu, Drive to Kathmandu, evening farewell
dinner overnight at Hotel.
Day 20 Final departure, Transfer to airport flight onward.
